The book was a revisionist look at the story, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. In this story, the audience is to side with the &#8220;Wicked Witch&#8221; and reveals the actual &#8220;good&#8221; and &#8220;evil&#8221; characters. The book story does a great job of combining politics, truth, and magic in a fantasy setting.
