Hilty was originally the Glinda, the Good Witch of the South in the New York and Los Angeles productions along with the national tour. Also set to take part in the event is the creator of Elphaba himself, Gregory Maguire. The author, who wrote the book \u201cWicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West\u201d was the basis for the Tony Award winning show and other literary efforts in line with the \u201cWizard of Oz.\u201d <!--more--><br \/>\n[ad#blog-ad-1]<br \/>\nHilty has made several television appearances inher years &#8211; appearing on \u2018The Closer,\u2019 The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, Ugly Betty, CSI, Desperate Housewives, and Shark.
