The show will feature the famous lyrics and music by Stephen Schwartz and a book by Winnie Holzman. The story follows the Frank L. Baum book and film \u201cThe Wizard of Oz\u201d as a prequel to Dorothy and her travels to find the Wizard. The show is currently directed by two time Tony winner Joe Mantello with musical staging by Tony Award winner Wayne Cilento.
