Though Wicked came out nearly a decade ago on the Broadway stage, winning tons of accolades from fans as well as several Tony Awards, the show hasn’t stopped impressing audiences and critics alike as it goes into a new season and traveling tour. Recently the show picked up the Best Family Fun at the BT Visit London People’s Choice Awards 2009. The annual People’s Choice Awards allow the public to vote on their favorite event of the year in London. This award, according to the Show and Stay website, is about number 50 for the internationally recognized play that first opened in 2004.

Wicked leading lady, Dee Roscioli, show off everything from her favorite costumes to tips on getting green.
If you’ve been following our Wonderful World of Wicked series, you’ve already met Madame Morrible, The Wizard, Fiyero and one bubbly Glinda. Now the time has finally come to meet The Green Girl herself. Broadway’s newest Elphaba, Dee Roscioli, may be a fresh face on The Great White Way, but the high-flying belter has been defying gravity as part of the Wicked family for years. Broadway.com dropped like a house onto a witch on the leading lady, who shared everything from her dressing room oddities to her favorite costumes to the tips that make being green extra easy for our camera.
