The Broadway production of hit musical Wicked will welcome Emmy Award winner Carol Kane and Michael Wartella to its cast at the Gershwin Theatre.
Carol Kane
Carol Kane will return to the Broadway production as Madame Morrible beginning July 1, 2013. Kane previously performed the role on Broadway, in Los Angeles and on tour. Randy Danson, who is currently playing the role of Madame Morrible, will play her final performance June 30.
Michael Wartella
Michael Wartella will assume the role of Boq starting June 25. F. Michael Haynie, who is currently playing the role, will give his final performance June 23.
They will join a cast that includes Lindsay Mendez as Elphaba, Katie Rose Clarke as Glinda, Derek Klena as Fiyero, Adam Grupper as The Wizard, Catherine Charlebois as Nessarose and John Schiappa as Dr. Dillamond.
