Broadway’s hit musical Wicked will be welcoming new cast members to the production at the Gershwin Theatre beginning February 25, 2014. They are Christine Dwyer, Jenni Barber, Justin Guarini, Mary Testa and P.J. Benjamin.

Christine Dwyer will assume the role of Elphaba after recently performing that role in the musical’s national tour.
Jenni Barber (The Nance, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) will step into the role of Glinda.
Justin Guarini, most recently seen on Broadway in Romeo and Juliet and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, will become the latest actor to play Fiyero.
Mary Testa (two-time Tony nominee) will assume the role of Madame Morrible. P.J. Benjamin, who has performed the role of The Wizard both on Broadway and on tour, will return to the New York company in that role.
These artists will join a cast that currently includes Catherine Charlebois as Nessarose, K. Todd Freeman as Dr. Dillamond and Michael Wartella as Boq. Current cast members Lindsay Mendez, Alli Mauzey, Kyle Dean Massey, Carol Kane and Tom McGowan will play their final performances Feb. 22 on Broadway.
