“Wicked” does something special for last-minute theatregoers: two and a half hours before each show, a random drawing is held for a limited number of orchestra seats, giving winners whose names are chosen the opportunity to buy the tickets for $25 apiece.

Based on the best-selling novel by Gregory Maguire that re-imagines the stories and characters created by L. Frank Baum in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, Wicked tells the incredible untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students.
