According to Broadway in Hawaii, Wicked grossed over $9 million during its eight-week run. More than 110,000 fans watched the show while it was in Honolulu. Wicked closes it’s run in Honolulu, but had a big impact in the economy.
They say the show boosted sales for nearby restaurants, hotels, and businesses, translating into a $30 million economic impact.
Wicked musical is currently performing at Orpheum Theater, San Francisco through February 17, 2013.
