Wicked managed to weather the storm and came out on top this week. Wicked Broadway Musical grossed $1,657,271 and had an attendance rate of 97.9%, about 2.0% less than that of the previous week. The Lion King finally knocked from the top spot as Sunday’s lights-out meant a loss of $287,662 and receipts totaling $1,431,056.
The 29 shows on the boards grossed $20,083,786, dropping around 8.39% from the previous week’s totals.
