Wicked National Tour Cast Update – Gina Beck and Alison Fraser to Join

Wicked First North American touring production is currently performing at Oriental Theatre – Ford Center for the Performing Arts – IL through December 21, 2013. The company will be welcoming Gina Beck as Glinda and Alison Fraser as Madame Morrible on Monday, December 16 in Chicago, IL.

Gina Beck will be making her US debut in Wicked. Beck is currenly performing in the West End production of Wicked as Glinda. She will be coming to the tour directly from there. Other West End credits include: Christine Daaé in The Phantom of the Opera and Cosette in Les Miserables.

Alison Fraser is a two-time Tony Award nominee for The Secret Garden and Romance/Romance. Other Broadway credits include Gypsy,Tartuffe, Born Again and The Mystery of Edwin Drood.

Wicked Broadway Box Office Update for Week Ending 11/24/2013

Wicked Broadway Musical grossed $1,632,849 and had an attendance rate of 92.9%, about 1.6% less than that of the previous week. The 32 shows on the boards grossed $23,426,996, imroving around 1.25% from the previous week’s totals.

Wicked Musical is in the 2nd position after The Book of Mormon ($1,677,524).
