Long before Dorothy from Kansas arrives in Munchkinland, two girls meet in the Land of Oz. One born with emerald green skin is smart, fiery and misunderstood. The other is beautiful, ambitious and very popular. The musical follow how these two girls grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Good Witch of the East.

Wicked Tour 2024 Update!

Wicked musical touring production will be in Oklahoma City OK from Feb 21 to Mar 10, 2024. The smash musical “Wicked” will make its long-awaited return to Civic Center Music Hall for a three-week run as part of OKC Broadway’s newly announced 2023-2024 season.

“The Broadway sensation Wicked looks at what happened in the Land of Oz…but from a different angle,” OKC Broadway says. “Long before Dorothy arrives, there is another young woman, born with emerald-green skin, who is smart, fiery, misunderstood, and possessing an extraordinary talent. The production is a return engagement at Civic Center Music Hall.

Wicked musical will run at Civic Center Music Hall through Sunday, March 10, 2024. From here the touring company moves to Austin Texas where it will play at Bass Concert Hall from March 13 to 31, 2024.

Oklahoma native Joel Ingram, a member of the tour’s ensemble, said the show’s roots in the classic tale isn’t why the show stands out, and audiences don’t have to be familiar with the original story to be enchanted by the musical.
